Bottle Gourd Curry with Curry Powder / Sorakaya Kurapodi Kura / Lauki Ki Sabji
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cup chopped Bottle Gourd Pieces
- 1 pinch Turmeric Powder
- 2 sp Chutney Powder/Curry Powder
- Salt to taste
- 1/2 sp Mustard Seeds
- 1/2 sp Urad Dal
- 1/4 sp Cumin Seeds
- 1 Red Chilli
- few Curry Leaves
- 2 sp Oil

Instructions
- Heat oil in a pan add popu ingredients and fry, once done add curry leaves, chopped sorakaya mukkalu/pieces and stir. Add in turmeric powder and sprinkle little water, mix well and cook with cover for 5 mins on medium flame.
- When the curry is half done add salt and stir-cook till done, then add curry powder and mix everything well to coat the curry with the curry powder and allow to cook for a min with a lid. Now sorakaya kura is ready, transfer into a serving bowl and serve.
