Ingredients
- 1 cup Bottle Gourd pieces
- 1 Tomato chopped
- 1 Onion chopped
- 1 pinch Turmeric powder
- 1″ Tamarind flake
- 5 Green chillies
- Salt to taste
For Popu :
- 1/2 sp Mustard Seeds
- 1/2 sp Urad Dal
- 1 Red Chilli crocked
- Curry Leaves
- 2 sp Oil
Instructions

Soak tamarind in little water and keep aside.

Take a microwave bowl add bottle gourd pieces, green chillies with 1/2 cup of water and cook on high for 3 mins.

Next add tomato pieces and again set for 3 mins and cook. cook them on stove top also.

After 3 mins take away the bowl allow it cool.

When it cool grind the soaked tamarind, green chillies, salt and turmeric powder.

Now add tomato, bottle gourd mixture and blend, then add in onion pieces and grind slightly.

After that transfer to a bowl and keep aside. Heat oil in a small frying pan and add popu for fry.

Once done add the fried popu to ground chutney and mix well.

Now spicy sorakaya pachadi/bottle gourd chutney is ready to serve, serve it with rice and roti
