Carrot Cabbage Mixed Curry Recipe / Patta Gobhi Carrot Porial / Cabbage Carrot Curry

Ingredients

  • 1 cup chopped Cabbage
  • 1 cup grated Carrot
  • 2 sp grated Fresh Coconut
  • 3 Green Chillies chopped
  • 1 pinch Turmeric Powder
  • Salt to taste
  • For Popu :
  • 1/2 sp Mustard Seeds
  • 1/4 sp Cumin Seeds
  • 1/2 sp Chana Dal
  • 1/2 sp Urad Dal
  • 1 Red Chilli crocked
  • Curry Leaves
  • 2 sp Oil

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a pan add popu ingredients and fry. Once done add curry leaves, green chillies and fry for a while. Then add in chopped cabbage and mix well, add turmeric powder and stir. Sprinkle little water and cook on medium flame with a lid. keep stirring in between.
  2. When it half done add grated carrot and mix well, then add enough salt and cook until done.
  3. Once done add grated coconut and mix everything well and cook for a while, now cabbage carrot mixed curry is ready, transfer into a serving bowl and serve with rice and roti.
