Cabbage Carrot Rice / Patta Gobhi Carrot Rice / Cabbage Carrot Rice
Ingredients
- 11/2 cup cooked Rice/Leftover Rice
- 1/2 cup grated Cabbage
- 1/2 cup grated Carrot
- 2 Green Chillies slit lengthwise
- 1/2 sp Black Pepper Powder
- 1/4 sp Turmeric Powder
- 1 sp chopped Garlic
- 1/2 sp Cumin Seeds
- chopped Coriander Leaves
- Curry Leaves
- Salt to taste
- 2 sp Oil
Instructions
- Heat oil in a pan add cumin seeds and fry for 30 secs, then add chopped green chillies, garlic and fry for 30 secs.
- Add grated carrot, curry leaves and stir for 1 min on low flame, now add chopped cabbage, turmeric powder and mix well, sprinkle little water and cook with cover.
- Once done add cooked rice, salt and mix it well, lastly add pepper powder, chopped coriander leaves and stir well, continue to cook on low flame till the moisture evaporates.
- Now cabbage carrot rice is ready, transfer into a serving bowl and serve hot with fresh curd/yogurt
