Carrot Bobbarlu Curry / Carrot Alasandalu Kura / Carrot Brown Cowpeas Curry
Ingredients
- 1 cup chopped Carrot
- 1/4 cup Soaked Bobbarlu/Lobia
- 1 Onion finely chopped
- 1 Green Chilli chopped
- 1 pinch Turmeric Powder
- 1/2 sp Red Chilli Powder
- 2 crushed Garlic Cloves
- Salt to taste
- 1/2 sp mustard seeds
- 1/4 chana dal
- 1/4 sp urad dal
- 1 Red Chilli crocked
- few Curry Leaves
- 2 sp Oil

Instructions
- Pressure cook chopped carrot , soaked cowpeas in two separate bowls for 2 whistles and then turn off the flame and allow it to cool.
- Heat oil in a pan add popu ingredients and fry, once done add curry leaves, chopped onion, crushed garlic, green chillies and stir.
- Stir-fry until the onions are translucent, then add cooked carrot and stir, now add turmeric powder, salt, red chilli powder and mix well.
- Lastly add cooked alasandalu and stir-cook for a couple of mins on low-medium flame and then transfer it into a serving bowl.
- Now carrot bobbarlu dry curry is ready to serve, serve hot with rice or roti.
