Chapati Rice Recipe with Leftover Rice and Leftover Chapati

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Cooked Rice
  • 2 Chapatis
  • 1 Onion chopped
  • 3 Green Chillies
  • 1 pinch Turmeric Powder
  • 1/4 sp Red Chilli Powder
  • 2 sp grated Carrot
  • fistful Fried Peanuts
  • 2 sp Lemon Juice
  • Salt to taste
  • For Popu :
  • 1/2 sp Cumin Seeds
  • 1/2 sp Mustard Seeds
  • chopped Coriander Leaves
  • Curry Leaves
  • 2 sp Oil

Instructions

  1. Take chapatis and tear into pieces and then pulse slightly and keep aside.
  2. Heat oil in a pan add popu ingredients and fry, once done add chopped onion, green chillies, curry leaves, grated carrot and stir.
  3. When it done add ground chapati pieces and fry for a min, now add cooked rice, salt and mix well., Let it cook for a couple of mins on low flame, then turn off the flame and add lemon juice and mix well.
  4. Now chapati rice is ready, transfer into a serving bowl and serve hot, Serve it morning breakfast or evening snack.
