Curry Leaves Poha / Karivepaku Atukulu / Karivepallai Aval

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Thick Poha/Atukulu/Beaten Rice
  • 2 sp Curry Leaves Powder
  • 1 pinch Turmeric Powder
  • fistful Peanuts
  • Salt to taste
  • For Popu :
  • 1/2 sp Mustard Seeds
  • 1/4 sp Cumin Seeds
  • 1 Red Chilli crocked
  • few Curry Leaves
  • 2 sp Oil

Instructions

  1. Wash and soak poha in water for 5 mins and then squeeze the poha and keep aside.
  2. Heat oil in a pan add popu ingredients and fry for a while, then add peanuts and fry.
  3. Once done, add curry leaves, squeezed poha, turmeric powder, little salt, curry leaves powder and mix everything well, cover and cook for a couple of mins.
  4. After that turn off the flame and transfer into a serving bowl, now curry leaves poha is ready, serve hot as breakfast/snack.
