Yellow Cucumber Besan Curry / Ullipaya Besan Kura

Ingredients

  • 1 no Dosakaya/Yellow Cucumber
  • 1 big Onion chopped
  • 1 pinch Turmeric Powder
  • 1 sp Red Chilli Powder
  • 2 sp Besan/Senaga Pindi
  • Salt to taste
  • For Popu :
  • 1/2 sp Mustard Seeds
  • 1/2 sp Urad Dal
  • 1 Red Chilli crocked
  • Curry Leaves
  • 2 sp Oil

Instructions

  1. Wash peel and cut dosakaya into small pieces and keep aside.
  2. Heat oil in a pan add popu ingredients and fry.
  3. When it done add curry leaves, onions and saute well.
  4. Add chopped dosakaya, turmeric powder, salt and mix well.
  5. Cover and cook on low heat, if necessary sprinkle little water.
  6. Once done add red chilli powder and gram flour.
  7. Stir well and continue to cook on low flame with cover for a min.
  8. Now turn off heat and transfer into a serving bowl.
  9. Dosakaya besan curry is ready to serve. Serve with rice and roti.
