Yellow Cucumber Masala Curry Recipe / Dosakaya Masala Kura
Ingredients
- 1 medium size Dosakaya/Yellow Cucumber
- 1 big Onion chopped
- 1 Tomato chopped
- 2 Green Chillies chopped
- 1 pinch Turmeric powder
- 1/2 sp Red Chilli powder
- Salt to taste
- 1 sp Coriander Seeds
- 1 sp Dry Coconut Powder
- 3 Garlic cloves
- 1/2 sp Mustard Seeds
- 1/2 sp Chana Dal
- 1/2 sp Urad Dal
- 1 crocked Red Chilli
- chopped Corinder leaves
- Curry leaves
- 2 sp Oil

Instructions
- Wash, peel off the dosakaya and cut into quarters, then deseeded and chop into small pieces.
- Heat a pan add coriander seeds and dry roast for a while, remove from flame and add coconut powder, garlic to coriander seeds and grind into a fine powder.
- Heat 2 sp oil in a pan add popu ingredients and fry, when they splutter add curry leaves, green chillies and onions.
- Saute onions until translucent, now add chopped tomato and stir, cover with a lid and cook on low flame for 2 mins.
- Then add dosakaya mukkalu, turmeric powder, salt and stir. Sprinkle little water and mix well, cook on low flame with cover.
- Once done add red chilli powder, ground masala powder and mix well till the curry gets well coated with the powder, continue to cook on low flame with a lid for one min.
- After that turn off the heat and transfer into a serving bowl, now dosakaya masala curry is ready, garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot with roti or rice.
