Boiled Gongura Pachadi / Red Sorrel Leaves Chutney

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Gongura Leaves/Sorrel Leaves
  • 6 Green Chillies
  • 1 Onion chopped
  • 1 pinch Turmeric powder
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Clean, wash sorrel leaves and cook along with green chillies with enough water. Once done remove from the heat and allow it to cool.
  2. Once cooled first grind green chillies with salt and turmeric powder, then add cooked sorrel leaves to it and blend it again.
  3. Next add chopped onions and blend it again coarsely, do not blend it finely, when done transfer into a serving bowl.
  4. Now cooked gongura pachadi is ready, serve with steamed white rice or rotis.
