Boiled Gongura Pachadi / Red Sorrel Leaves Chutney
Ingredients
- 1 cup Gongura Leaves/Sorrel Leaves
- 6 Green Chillies
- 1 Onion chopped
- 1 pinch Turmeric powder
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Clean, wash sorrel leaves and cook along with green chillies with enough water. Once done remove from the heat and allow it to cool.
- Once cooled first grind green chillies with salt and turmeric powder, then add cooked sorrel leaves to it and blend it again.
- Next add chopped onions and blend it again coarsely, do not blend it finely, when done transfer into a serving bowl.
- Now cooked gongura pachadi is ready, serve with steamed white rice or rotis.
