Jowar Flakes Coconut Pudding/Jonna Atukula Kobbari Payasam–Krishnashtami Recipes
Ingredients
- 1 small cup Jonna Atukulu
- 1 cup Whole Milk
- 2 sp grated Fresh Coconut
- 4 or 5 sp Sugar
- 2 sp chopped Dry Fruits
- 2 sp chopped Karjur
- 1 pinch Elaichi Powder
Instructions
- Wash and soak jowar flakes in water for 1 min and squeeze out all water and keep aside in a plate.
- Boil milk for 5 mins on low flame then add grated coconut, sugar and stir, cook on low flame for 2 mins.
- Then add in squeezed jowar flakes, elaichi powder and stir until well mixed and cook for 1 min, now turn off the flame.
- Transfer into a serving bowl and garnish with chopped dry fruits.
- Jonna atukula pala payasam is ready for naivedyam to "Bhagavan Sri Krishna".
