Jowar Flakes Coconut Pudding/Jonna Atukula Kobbari Payasam–Krishnashtami Recipes

Ingredients

  • 1 small cup Jonna Atukulu
  • 1 cup Whole Milk
  • 2 sp grated Fresh Coconut
  • 4 or 5 sp Sugar
  • 2 sp chopped Dry Fruits
  • 2 sp chopped Karjur
  • 1 pinch Elaichi Powder

Instructions

  1. Wash and soak jowar flakes in water for 1 min and squeeze out all water and keep aside in a plate.
  2. Boil milk for 5 mins on low flame then add grated coconut, sugar and stir, cook on low flame for 2 mins.
  3. Then add in squeezed jowar flakes, elaichi powder and stir until well mixed and cook for 1 min, now turn off the flame.
  4. Transfer into a serving bowl and garnish with chopped dry fruits.
  5. Jonna atukula pala payasam is ready for naivedyam to "Bhagavan Sri Krishna".
