Kodo Millet Lemon Bath/Arikalu Nimmakaya Pulihora – Millet Recipes
Ingredients
- 1 cup Kodo Millet/Arikelu
- 2 Green Chillies chopped lengthwise
- 3 tbsp of Lemon Juice
- 1/4 sp Turmeric Powder
- Salt to taste
- 1/2 sp Mustard Seeds
- 1/2 sp Chana Dal
- 1/2 sp Urad Dal
- fistful Peanut
- 1 pinch Hing
- few Curry Leaves

Instructions
- Wash and soak kodo millet for 10 mins and then cook in a rice cooker with 2 cups of water, once done turn off and leave it to cool.
- Heat oil in a pan add popu ingredients and fry, once done add chopped green chillies, curry leaves and stir for a while, add turmeric powder and stir, turn off the flame and add the fried popu to cooked kodo millet rice, add salt, lemon juice and mix thoroughly. Now kodo millet/arikalu lemon bath is ready, transfer into a serving bowl and serve.
