Ingredients

  • 1 cup Broken Wheat/Dalia
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1/4 cup Ghee
  • 1/2 sp Elaichi Powder
  • few fried Dry Fruits
  • 3 cups Water

Instructions

  1. Heat ghee in a pan add wheat rava to it and stir well, fry it on slow flame till it comes good aroma. Meanwhile keep water for boiling in a another bowl.

  3. Carefully and slowly pour the boiling water to the roasted wheat rava and stir well. Keep stirring continuously until the dalia has turned soft, then add sugar, elaichi powder and stir thoroughly.
  4. Continue cooking on low flame till it completely done or till the ghee separates along the sides, then remove from fire and transfer into a serving dish. Now Gujarati special sweet dish lapsi is ready, garnish with fried dry fruits and serve.
