Ingredients

  • 1 cup Thick Poha/Beaten Rice/ Aval
  • 1 Green Chilli Chopped
  • 1 pinch Turmeric Powder
  • 2 sp lemon juice
  • Salt to taste
  • For Popu :
  • 1/2 sp Mustard Seeds
  • 1/4 sp Cumin Seeds
  • 1/2 sp Urad Dal
  • 1/2 sp Chana Dal
  • 1 Red Chilli Crocked
  • 2 sp chopped Coriander Leaves
  • Curry Leaves
  • 2 sp Oil

Instructions

  1. Wash well poha and drain them and keep aside.
  2. Heat oil in a pan add popu ingredients and fry.
  3. Once done add green chillies, curry leaves, turmeric powder and fry for a min.
  4. Then add soaked poha,salt and mix well.
  5. Sprinkle little water on top and saute for a couple of mins.
  6. Turn off the flame and add the lemon juice to this, chopped coriander leaves and mix everything well.
  7. Now Lemon poha is ready to serve, serve hot.
