Spinach Dal with Moong Dal / Palakura Pesara Pappu / Palak Dal with Moong Dal
Ingredients
- 1 small cup Moong Dal
- 1 cup chopped Spinach / Palakura
- 4 chopped Green Chillies
- 1 pinch Turmeric Powder
- Salt to taste
- 1/2 sp Mustard Seeds
- 1/2 sp Urad Dal
- 1 Red Chilli crocked
- 1 pinch Inguva
- Curry Leaves
- 2 sp Oil

Instructions
- Wash moong dal well and cook on stove top with two cups of water.
- When it 3/4 done add chopped spinach, green chillies and cook.
- Once done add salt, turmeric powder and stir well.
- Then mash the cooked dal with the back of a ladle and cook.
- Let it cook for a couple of mins, then remove from the flame.
- Heat oil in a small pan add popu ingredients and fry.
- Add curry leaves and fry for 30 sec, then add fried popu to cooked dal.
- Now moong dal palakura pappu is ready to serve, serve with rice and rotis.
