
Munagaku Mamidikaya Pappu / Drumstick Leaf and Raw Mango Dal - Dal Recipes
Ingredients
- 1 small cup Toor Dal
- 1 cup Drumstick Leaves
- 2 Green Chillies chopped
- 1 Tomato chopped
- fistful Raw Mango Pieces
- 1 pinch Turmeric Powder
- 1 sp Red Chilli Powder
- Salt to taste
- 1/2 sp Mustard Seeds
- 1/4 sp Cumin Seeds
- 1 Red Chilli crocked
- Curry Leaves
- 1 pinch Inguva
- 2 sp Oil

Instructions
- Wash toor dal and keep aside, clean wash munagaku and strain.
- In a steel bowl place munagaku and add mango, tomato, green chilli pieces and pressure cook along with toor dal.
- Once the cooker cool, remove the lid and mash the cooked toor dal munagaku mixture.
- Heat oil in a pan add popu ingredients and fry. Once done add cooked dal munagaku mixture and mix well.
- Then add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, salt and stir, let it cook for a couple of mins.
- When done turn off the flame and transfer into a serving bowl, now spicy and tasty mango munagaku pappu is ready, serve with rice or roti.
