Poha Peanut Laddu/Atukulu Pallila Laddu–Sri Krishna Janmasthami Recipes
Ingredients
- 1 small cup Poha/Beaten Rice /Aval/Atukulu
- 1 small cup Peanut/Ground Nuts/Pallilu
- 1 same cup grated Jaggery
- 3 Elaichi Pods
- 2 tbsp Ghee
Instructions
- Heat a pan add peanuts and stir-fry till they turn light brown in color then remove from the flame and keep aside for cool, once cool rub them gently and remove the skin from the peanuts.
- Heat a pan add poha and fry for 1 min on low flame, then remove from the flame and keep aside, cool and grind them separately into a powder along with elaichi pods.
- Take them into a bowl, then add in grated jaggery and mix the coarse powders together, make a well in the centre pour the warm ghee and mix the mixture well with hand.
- Take some amount of the mixture and make into small lemon sized balls, now tasty tasty poha peanut laddus are ready to offer Lord Sri Krishna during Gokulashtami.
