Poha Peanut Laddu/Atukulu Pallila Laddu–Sri Krishna Janmasthami Recipes

Ingredients

  • 1 small cup Poha/Beaten Rice /Aval/Atukulu
  • 1 small cup Peanut/Ground Nuts/Pallilu
  • 1 same cup grated Jaggery
  • 3 Elaichi Pods
  • 2 tbsp Ghee

Instructions

  1. Heat a pan add peanuts and stir-fry till they turn light brown in color then remove from the flame and keep aside for cool, once cool rub them gently and remove the skin from the peanuts.
  2. Heat a pan add poha and fry for 1 min on low flame, then remove from the flame and keep aside, cool and grind them separately into a powder along with elaichi pods.
  3. Take them into a bowl, then add in grated jaggery and mix the coarse powders together, make a well in the centre pour the warm ghee and mix the mixture well with hand.
  4. Take some amount of the mixture and make into small lemon sized balls, now tasty tasty poha peanut laddus are ready to offer Lord Sri Krishna during Gokulashtami.
