Poha Rice Bath Recipe / Aval and Left Over Rice Bath
Ingredients
- 11/2 cup cooked Rice
- 1/2 cup Poha/Atukulu
- 1 pinch Turmeric Powder
- 1/2 sp Red Chilli Powder
- 2 Green Chillies chopped
- 1 Onion chopped
- 1 sp Ginger Garlic Paste
- fistful Peanuts
- 1/2 sp Mustard Seeds
- 1/4 sp Cumin Seeds
- 2 Red Chillies crocked
- Curry Leaves
- 3 sp Oil

Instructions
- Wash and soak the beaten rice for 5 mins, then squeeze out the water and keep aside. Heat oil in a pan add peanuts and fry until light brown, then remove from the pan and keep aside.
- Add popu ingredients to the same pan and fry, next add green chillies, curry leaves and stir. Add chopped onion, turmeric powder, little salt and fry.
- Cook the onions until translucent add ginger garlic paste and stir-fry until the raw smell goes.
- Add in squeezed poha and stir-fry for 2 mins on low flame, next add cooked rice.
- Then add salt, red chilli powder and mix very well, finally add fried peanuts and mix well. Let it cook for 2 mins on low flame. Now poha popu annam is ready transfer into a serving bowl and serve.
