Ingredients

  • 1 cup Poha / Beaten Rice
  • 1 cup Semolina
  • 1 cup fresh Coconut
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1 pinch Elaichi Powder
  • Little hot Milk

Instructions

  1. Heat a pan add poha and fry for about 2 mins on low flame.
  2. Then add suji and fry the mixture until it turns light brown.
  3. Remove from the pan, in the same pan and add grated coconut and stir.
  4. Continue frying until the coconut is light brown in color and turn off the flame.
  5. Grind poha mixture into a coarse powder, grind sugar also into a fine powder.
  6. Combine ground powders, fried coconut, elaichi powder in a mixing bowl and mix well.
  7. Add enough hot milk and mix very well, take small portion and make lemon sized balls.
  8. Now poha suji coconut laddus are ready for naivedyam to Bhagavan Sri Krishna.
