Tomato Poha / Poha With Tomato Puree
Ingredients
- 1 cup Atukulu/Thick Poha/Beaten Rice
- 1/2 cup Tomato Puree
- 1 Onion chopped
- 1 Green Chilli chopped
- 1 pinch Turmeric Powder
- 1/2 sp Ginger Garlic Paste
- Salt to taste
- 1/2 sp Mustard Seeds
- 1/4 sp Cumin Seeds
- 1/2 sp Chana Dal
- 1/2 sp Urad Dal
- 1 Red Chilli crocked
- 2 sp Peanuts
- Curry leaves
- 2 sp Oil

Instructions
- Wash well, soak poha for 2 mins, then squeezed them and keep aside.
- Grind 2 tomatoes into puree and keep aside, dry roast peanuts & remove the skin from them.
- Heat oil in pan add popu ingredients & fry, once done add onion, green chilli pieces, curry leaves and saute them.
- Add ginger garlic paste and fry for 1 min on low flame, then add tomato puree & stir well. Add salt, turmeric powder and cook for a couple of minutes on low flame
- Add poha and mix well, cook with cover on low flame for 2 mins. Now Tomato Poha is ready, transfer into a serving bowl and serve hot.
