Potlakaya Perugu Pachadi / Snake Gourd Yogurt Chutney
Ingredients
- 1 cup chopped Snake Gourd pieces
- 1 pinch Turmeric Powder
- 1/2 sp Red Chilli Powder
- 11/2 cup Fresh Curd/Yogurt
- Salt to taste
- 1/2 sp Mustard Seeds
- 1/2 sp Urad Dal
- 1/4 sp Cumin Seeds
- 1 Red Chilli crocked
- Curry leaves
- 2 sp Oil

Instructions
- Wash and cut potlakaya/snake gourd into thin half rounds and keep aside.
- Heat oil in a pan add popu ingredients and fry, once done add curry leaves, snake gourd pieces and stir well. Cover with a lid and cook on medium flame.
- Add salt for snake gourd pieces, turmeric powder and cook until soft, finally add red chilli powder and fry for a min on low flame.
- Once done turn off the flame and allow it to cool. In the meantime, whisk curd with enough salt and keep aside.
- Once cool down completely, then add the fried snake gourd mixture to the curd and mix well.
- Now tasty tasty potlakaya perugu pachadi/snake gourd raita is ready to serve.
