Ragi Flour Suji Halwa / Finger Millet Semolina Halwa - Halwa Recipes
Ingredients
- 1 cup Ragi Flour
- 1/2 cup Suji/Semolina
- 1 cup Sugar
- 1/4 cup Ghee
- 1 pinch Elaichi Powder
- 2 cups Water
- few chopped Cashew Nuts
- 1-2 Badam
Instructions
- Heat 2 tbsp ghee in a pan add chopped cashew nuts and fry, then remove to a plate & keep aside. Add suji, ragi flour to the same pan and stir-fry.
- Fry on low flame for 5 mins or till the raw smell disappears, then pour boiled water carefully to it and stir constantly until it thickens. Now add sugar & stir -cook till soft lump is formed and leaves the bottom.
- Then add chopped cashew nuts, remaining ghee and mix well. Now ragi suji halwa is ready. Transfer into serving bowls, garnish with fried cashew nuts and serve.
