Raw Banana Curry with Ginger Chillie Paste / Aratikaya Allam Mirchi Kura

Ingredients

  • 1 no Raw Banana/Aratikaya
  • 1 pinch Turmeric Powder
  • 3 Green Chillies
  • 1"Ginger Piece
  • 2 sp Lemon Juice
  • Salt to taste
  • For Popu :
  • 1/2 sp Mustard Seeds
  • 1/2 sp Chana Dal
  • 1/2 sp Urad Dal
  • 1 Red Chilli Crocked
  • Curry Leaves

Instructions

  1. Wash, peel aratikaya and cut into small pieces.
  2. Cook them along with salt, turmeric powder, once done strain them..
  3. In the mean time, grind green chillies, ginger into a coarse paste and keep aside.
  4. Heat oil in a pan add popu ingredients and fry.
  5. Once done add curry leaves, cooked aratikaya mukkalu and fry for a while.
  6. Then add ground ginger, green chillie paste and mix well.
  7. Cover and cook on low flame for a couple of mins.
  8. Turn off the flame and add lemon juice andmix everything well.
  9. Now Aratikaya allam mirchi kura is ready, transfer into a serving bowl.
  10. Serve with white rice and rotis.
