Raw Mango Sweet And Sour Chutney / Sweet And Spicy Mango Pickle
Ingredients
- 3 nos Mangoes
- 4 sp Red Chilli Powder
- 1/4 sp Turmeric Powder
- 4 sp grated Jaggery
- enough Salt
- 1/2 sp Coriander Seeds
- 1/2 sp Mustard Seeds
- 1/2 sp Cumin Seeds
- 1/2 sp Methi Seeds
- 1/2 sp Fennel Seeds/Sopu Ginjalu
- 1 sp Mustard Seeds
- 2 Red Chillies Crocked
- 4-5 sp Oil

Instructions
- Wash mangoes well and pat dry with a clean cloth, peel the mangoes and slice them into medium size pieces.
- Heat a pan add powder ingredients and dry roast till slightly brown, then remove from the pan, cool and grind into a coarse powder and keep aside.
- Heat oil in a khadai add mustard seeds, red chillies and fry, once done add chopped mango pieces and stir-fry for 1 min then add salt, turmeric powder and cook.
- Next pour 1/2 cup of water and allow it to cook on low flame until the mango pieces are soft.
- Now add in grated jaggery, red chilli powder, ground masala powder and mix very well and cook it for a couple of mins and then turn off the heat.
- Raw mango sweet and spicy chutney is ready, serve it with puri, chapati, allow it to cool and put it into a glass jar or other container and keep in the refrigerator.
