Rice Rava Coconut Kheer Recipe / Biyyam Rava Kobbari Payasam–Vinayaka Chavithi Naivedyam Recipes
Ingredients
- 2 tbsp Rice Rava/Biyyam Rava
- 2 sp Chana Dal/Senaga Pappu
- 4 tbsp Sugar
- 4 small cups water
- 1 cup Milk
- 2 sp fresh Coconut ( grated )
- Dry Fruits ( Almonds, Pista, Cashew Nuts )
- 1 pinch Elaichi powder
Instructions
- Soak the chana dal in the water and keep aside for 15 mins, boil water in a bowl, once the water comes to boil add soaked dal and cook for 10 mins.
- Add in rice rava and mix well, cook on medium flame until done, stirring now & then.
- Meanwhile, grind grated coconut, 3 cashew nuts along with little milk into a fine paste.
- After the rava is well cooked add sugar, elaichi powder and stir well, allow it to boil for few mins.
- Lastly add ground paste, milk and mix very well, give a boil and switch off the flame, transfer into a serving bowl.
- Add fried dry fruits and served as naivedyam to Lord Ganesha.
Note: Please adjust the water + milk quantity according to the cosistency you nead.
