Masala Palak Paratha Recipe / Spinach Masala Paratha / Palakura Masala Roti
Ingredients
- 1 cup chopped Palakura/Spinach
- 1 cup Wheat Flour
- 1/2 sp Ginger Garlic Paste
- 1 Onion finely chopped
- 2 Green Chillies chopped
- 1/2 sp Garam Masala
- 2 sp Wheat flour for dusting
- Salt to taste
- enough Water
- 4 sp Oil/Ghee
Instructions
- Heat oil in a pan add onion, green chilli pieces and fry for a while.
- Add ginger garlic paste and fry for 30 secs on low flame.
- Next add chopped palak, garam masala and stir well.
- Cook for a couple of mins then add enough water and salt.
- Once the water starts boiling, pour wheat flour and mix well, then turn off the flame.
- Let it cool for a couple of mins, then make a dough, leave it for 15 mins with cover.
- Knead well and divide the dough into small balls. Flatten one ball of the dough with your hand.
- Apply little flour and roll out the ball into a thin round with the help of a rolling pin.
- In the mean time heat a griddle, when it hot cook chapathi on both sides with little oil/ghee.
- Make the same process with the remaining dough balls. Now palak chapathi is ready to serve.
- Serve with curry or fresh curd.
