Steamed Sweet Kachori / Coconut Stuffed And Steamed Sweet Kachori – Vinayaka Chavithi Special Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 cup Rice Flour
- 11/2 cup Water
- 1 pinch Salt
- 1 sp Oil
- 1 cup grated Fresh Coconut
- 3/4 cup Jaggery
- 1 pinch Elaichi Powder
- 2 sp Oil for greasing

Instructions
- Put water in a bowl add oil into it & bring it to a boil, once it starts boiling reduce the flame then add the rice flour gradually and mix well, turn off the flame and allow it to cool with cover.
- Meantime, combine and cook grated coconut, jaggery, elaichi powder with little water and cook till the mixture leaves the sides of the pan then turn off the flame and keep aside, now the stuffing is ready. Apply little oil and knead the dough well and divide the dough into lemon sized balls, when the coconut mixture cool then roll it into small balls and keep aside.
- Take one dough ball and place it on a greased leaf (badam Leaf) and spread it lightly, then place 2 sp coconut stuffing on it.
- Keep sealing the edges carefully and roll. Then press it gently like kachori and keep aside.
- Do the same with the remaining dough and coconut mixture, then steam cook on low-medium heat for 12-15 mins, turn off the flame and leave it for 2 mins.
- Now coconut stuffed steam sweet kachori is ready for naivedyam to Lord Ganesha during Vinayaka Chavithi festival.
