Poha Sweet Pongali / Beaten Rice Sweet Pongal / Aval Dal Sweet Pongal
Ingredients
- 1 cup Thick Poha/Beaten Rice/Aval
- 1/4 cup Moong Dal
- 1 cup grated Jaggery
- 1 pinch Elaichi Powder
- few Dry Fruits
- 2 sp Ghee
Instructions
- Wash the poha and drain well, wash moong dal and cook on stove top.
- When the moong dal 3/4 done add poha and stir well, let it cook for a couple of mins.
- Now add jaggery, elaichi powder and mix well, continue to cook on low heat for a couple of mins.
- Heat ghee in a small fry pan add chopped dry fruits and fry, once done add it to cooked pongal along with ghee and mix well. After that turn off the flame and transfer into a serving bowl.
- Now poha sweet pongali/aval dal sweet pongali is ready to offer Lord Sri Krishna.
