Sweet Potato Dal Recipe / Chilagadadumpa Tiyya Pappu
Ingredients
- 1 cup Toor Dal
- 2 nos Sweet Potatoes
- 2 Green Chillies Chopped
- 1 pinch Turmeric Powder
- 1 pinch Hingh
- Salt to taste
- 1/2 sp Mustard Seeds
- 1/2 sp Urad Dal
- 1 Red Chilli Crocked
- Curry Leaves
- 2 sp Oil

Instructions
- Wash, peel and cut sweet potato into small cubes.
- Wash toor dal and pressure cook along with green chillies and sweet potato pieces.
- When it cool remove the lid and mix well.
- Heat oil in a pan add popu ingredients and fry.
- When they splutter add curry leaves, cooked dal and stir well.
- Add salt, turmeric powder and cook on low flame for a couple of mins.
- Now sweet potato dal/chilagadadumpa pappu is ready, turn off the flame.
- Transfer into a serving bowl and serve with hot rice and pickle.
