Ingredients

  • 1 cup Wheat Flour
  • 2 sp Wheat Flour for dusting
  • 2 Tomatoes roughly chopped
  • 2 Green Chillies
  • 1/4 sp Cumin Seeds
  • small Ginger Piece
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil for Chapati fry

Instructions

  1. In a Mixie jar palce chopped tomatoes, green chillies, ginger, cumin seeds and blend into a fine puree.
  2. Take a bowl add wheat flour, tomato puree, salt and mix well, add 1 sp oil to it and make a soft dough, let it leave for 20 mins with cover.
  3. After that knead the dough again and make into lime sized balls, flatten one ball of the dough with your hand, apply wheat flour and roll out the ball into a thin round.
  4. Heat a pan once hot, place raw chapathi on it and let it cook for few seconds, when it cooked lightly then apply 1 sp of oil and turn it over. Cook the chapathi on both sides and remove from the flame, do the same with the remaining dough balls.
  5. Now tomato chapathi is ready, serve hot with fresh curd or dal.
