Tomato Chapati Recipe / Tomato Flatbread - how to make Tomato Chapathi
Ingredients
- 1 cup Wheat Flour
- 2 sp Wheat Flour for dusting
- 2 Tomatoes roughly chopped
- 2 Green Chillies
- 1/4 sp Cumin Seeds
- small Ginger Piece
- Salt to taste
- Oil for Chapati fry
Instructions
- In a Mixie jar palce chopped tomatoes, green chillies, ginger, cumin seeds and blend into a fine puree.
- Take a bowl add wheat flour, tomato puree, salt and mix well, add 1 sp oil to it and make a soft dough, let it leave for 20 mins with cover.
- After that knead the dough again and make into lime sized balls, flatten one ball of the dough with your hand, apply wheat flour and roll out the ball into a thin round.
- Heat a pan once hot, place raw chapathi on it and let it cook for few seconds, when it cooked lightly then apply 1 sp of oil and turn it over. Cook the chapathi on both sides and remove from the flame, do the same with the remaining dough balls.
- Now tomato chapathi is ready, serve hot with fresh curd or dal.
