Vamu Annam / Ajwain Rice / Carom Seeds Rice
Ingredients
- 1 cup cooked Rice
- 2 Green Chillies chopped
- 1 Onion finely chopped
- 1 sp Asjwain Seeds/Carom Seeds/Vamu
- 1 Red Chilli crocked
- 4 Cashews Nuts
- chopped Coriander Leaves
- Curry Leaves
- Salt to taste
- 2 sp Oil
Instructions
- Heat oil in a pan add cashews and fry, then remove from pan to a plate keep aside.
- Add vamu/ajwain to the same pan and fry for 30 sec, then add red, green chillies, curry leaves and fry for a while.
- Once done add chopped onions and stir-fry until the onions are tender, then add cooked rice, enough salt and mix well.
- Finally add cashew nuts, chopped coriander leaves and mix well, cook on low flame for a couple of mins, then turn off the heat.
- Now Vamu annam/ajwain rice is ready, transfer into a serving plate and serve hot.
