Ingredients

  • 1 cup Semiya Halwa
  • 1/2 cup Urad dal
  • 1 cup Rice
  • Oil for deep fry

Instructions

  1. Soak rice, urad dal for one hour and make a fine paste like thick dosa batter and keep aside.
  2. Prepare semiya halwa and make small lemon sized balls.
  3. Heat oil in a pan for deep fry, when hot dip the balls in the batter and fry them in hot oil till light brown in color.
  4. Take them out and place the purnalu on a paper towel to drain excess oil.
  5. Semiya halwa purnalu are ready to serve.
