Tomato Dal Recipe/Tomato Dal with Moong Dal/Tomato Pesarapappu
Ingredients
- 1 cup Moong Dal
- 1 sp Ginger Garlic Paste
- 2 Tomatoes chopped
- 3 Green Chillies slit lengthwise
- 1 pinch Turmeric Powder
- 1 sp Red Chilli Powder
- 1 sp Coriander Powder
- Salt to taste
- 1/2 sp Cumin Seeds
- 2 Red Chillies
- Coriander Leaves
- Curry Leaves
- 1 pinch Inguva
- 2 sp Oil

Instructions
- Wash moong dal and cook on stove top or pressure cook and keep it aside.
- Heat oil in a pan popu ingredients and fry, when done add curry leaves, chopped green chillies, ginger garlic paste and stir for a minute next add chopped tomatoes.
- Add all the powders, salt and mix well, cover and cook until soft, then add in cooked dal and mix it well, add little water if required.
- Let it cook for 2 or 3 minutes, after that turn off the flame and transfer into a serving bowl.
- Now Tomato dal is ready, garnish with coriander leaves and serve, serve hot with rice or roti.
