Aloo Pulav Recipe / Potato Pulao / Bangaladumpa Pulav
Ingredients
- 2 cups Rice
- 2 big size Potatoes
- 2 Onion chopped
- 4 Green Chillies chopped
- 1 sp Red Chilli Powder
- 1 pinch Turmeric Powder
- 1/2 sp Garam Masala Powder
- 1 sp Ginger Garlic Paste
- 4 cups Water
- 2 sp Curd/Yogurt
- Salt to taste
- 4 sp Oil
- Curry Leaves
- Coriander Leaves
Instructions
- Wash rice and keep aside, wash, peel and chop potatoes into small pieces.
- Heat oil in a pan add onion, green chilli pieces, curry leaves and fry for a while.
- Once done add ginger garlic paste, turmeric powder, red chilli powder and fry for 1 min.
- Then add aloo pieces, curd, garam masala powder and stir-fry a couple of mins.
- Add in rice and fry for 2 mins, then add water and enough salt.
- Transfer them into a pressure cooker bowl or a rice cooker bowl and cook.
- When done remove from the flame and transfer into a serving bowl. Now Aloo pulao is ready garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot with raita.
