Amaranth Leavs Stew / Thotakura Pulusu Kura - Andhra Style Thotakura Pulusu
Ingredients
- 2 cups Amarnth Leaves/Thotakura
- 2 Onion chopped
- 2 Green Chillies chopped
- 1 pinch Turmeric powder
- 1 sp Red Chilli powder
- 2 sp Tamarind Pulp
- Salt to taste
- 1/2 sp Mustard Seeds
- 1/2 sp Chana Dal
- 1/2 sp Urad Dal
- 1/4 sp Cumin Seeds
- 1 Red Chilli crocked
- 2 sp oil

Instructions
- Clean wash and chop thotakura and keep aside. Heat oil in a pan add popu ingredients and fry.
- Once done add onions, curry leaves, green chillies and stir-fry until soft.
- Now add chopped thotakura, turmeric powder & mix well. Add salt, tamarind pulp, red chilli powder & mix well.
- Add little water and cook for 10 mins on low flame with cover until done.
- When the curry is done, turn off the flame and transfer into a serving bowl.
- Now thotakura pulusu is ready to serve, serve with rice or rotis.
