Mixed Flour Appalu Recipe/Mixed Flour Sweet Burelu/Appalu with Mixed Flour
Ingredients
- 14 cup Wheat Flour
- 1/4 cup Ragi Flour
- 1/4 cup Bajra Flour
- 1/4 cup Jowar Flour
- 1/2 cup Water
- 3/4 cup grated Jaggery
- 1 pinch Elaichi Powder
- 1 tsp Ghee
- Oil for deep fry
Instructions
- Boil jaggery and water in a pan until jaggery dissolves in water completely.
- Drain the syrup and again boil for 2-3 mins, then remove from the flame.
- Add mixed flour, elaichi powder, one spoon of ghee and mix well.
- Let it leave for a couple of mins, once cooled make a soft dough and make into small balls.
- Pat the ball to round shape like small puri, fry it in oil on medium flame until its brown in color.
- Take from the pan and place on a paper towel, do the same process with the remaining dough balls.
- Now mixed flour appalu are ready. serve hot or cold. Its very soft and tasty.
