Mixed Flour Appalu Recipe/Mixed Flour Sweet Burelu/Appalu with Mixed Flour

Ingredients

  • 14 cup Wheat Flour
  • 1/4 cup Ragi Flour
  • 1/4 cup Bajra Flour
  • 1/4 cup Jowar Flour
  • 1/2 cup Water
  • 3/4 cup grated Jaggery
  • 1 pinch Elaichi Powder
  • 1 tsp Ghee
  • Oil for deep fry

Instructions

  1. Boil jaggery and water in a pan until jaggery dissolves in water completely.
  2. Drain the syrup and again boil for 2-3 mins, then remove from the flame.
  3. Add mixed flour, elaichi powder, one spoon of ghee and mix well.
  4. Let it leave for a couple of mins, once cooled make a soft dough and make into small balls.
  5. Pat the ball to round shape like small puri, fry it in oil on medium flame until its brown in color.
  6. Take from the pan and place on a paper towel, do the same process with the remaining dough balls.
  7. Now mixed flour appalu are ready. serve hot or cold. Its very soft and tasty.
