Beans Masala Curry Recipe / Green Beans Gravy Curry

Ingredients

  • 1/4 kg Beans
  • 2 Onion finely chopped
  • 2 Tomatoes chopped
  • 1 pinch Turmeric Powder
  • Salt to taste
  • For Paste :
  • 2 sp grated Coconut
  • 2 Green Chillies chopped
  • 1/2 sp Popy seeds
  • 1/2 sp Ginger Garlic paste
  • 1/2 sp Red Chilli Powder
  • For Popu :
  • 1/2 sp Mustard Seeds
  • 1/2 sp Chana Dal
  • 1/2 sp Urad Dal
  • 1 Red Chilli crocked
  • Curry leaves
  • 2 sp Oil

Instructions

  1. Wash and cut beans into small pieces and cook with salt and keep aside.
  2. Meanwhile, combine ginger garlic paste, coconut, popy seeds, red chilli powder and grind into a fine paste.
  3. Heat oil in a pan add popu ingredients and fry, once done add curry leaves, onion and green chilli pieces and stir well.
  4. When the onions are translucent then add in chopped tomato, ground paste, turmeric powder and mix it well.,
  5. Fry it on low flame until the raw smell goes, now add cooked beans and stir, sprinkle little water and cook. Cook it on low flame for a couple of mins then turn of the heat and transfer into a serving bowl.
  6. Now Beans masala curry is ready to serve, serve with rice or roti.
