Bottle Gourd Halwa/Sorakaya Halwa/Lauki Ka Halwa - Halwa Recipes
Ingredients
- 1 cup grated Bottle Gourd
- 2 cups Milk
- 1 cup Sugar
- 4 tbsp Ghee
- few Cashew Nuts
- 1 pinch Elaichi Powder
Instructions
- Heat 2 tbsp ghee in a pan add cashew nuts and fry till golden brown and remove from the pan and keep them aside.
- Add the grated bottle gourd in the same pan and fry it until the raw smell goes, stir it continuously.
- Now add milk and cook well, once the bottle gourd becomes soft add sugar,elaichi powder and mix well.
- Cook for 7-8 mins on medium flame till the mixture thickens add remaining ghee and stir well.
- Now bottle gourd halwa is ready, transfer to a greased plate and garnish with fried cashew nuts and serve.
