Wheat Jowar Flour Cabbage Paratha / Cabbage Paratha With Godhuma And Jonna Pindi

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Wheat Flour
  • 1/2 cup Jowar Flour
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 sp Wheat Flour for dusting
  • 4 sp Oil for frying
  • For Stuffing :
  • 1 cup grated Cabbage
  • 1 pinch Turmeric Powder
  • 1/2 sp Red Chilli Powder
  • 1/2 sp Chat Masala Powder
  • 1 Green Chilli finely chopped
  • chopped Coriander Leaves
  • enough Salt
  • 1 sp Oil

Instructions

  1. Take a bowl add wheat flour, jowar flour, salt, 1 sp oil and mix well.
  2. Add enough water and make a dough like chapati dough and keep it aside.
  3. Heat oil in a pan add grated cabbage, green chillies and stir.
  4. Add turmeric powder, salt, red chilli powder and cook with cover.
  5. Now add chopped coriander, chat masala and mash it well. Now the stuffing is ready.
  6. Let it cool for sometime and then prepare small lemon sized balls.
  7. Knead the dough well and divide it into medium size balls.
  8. Roll one dough ball at a time into a thick small circle.
  9. Place the cabbage ball in the center of the roti and close it from all sides completely.
  10. Apply some wheat flour on both sides, roll gently into round shape chapathi.
  11. Heat a thick flat pan and place the cabbage paratha on it.
  12. Cook one side till it becomes light brown, then turn to another side and let it cook.
  13. Apply oil around the paratha, once both sides are cook then remove from pan.
  14. Cabbage paratha is ready to serve, serve it with chutney or fresh curd.
