Carrot Green Peas Coconut Curry / Carrot Matter Sabji / Carrot Batani Porial
Ingredients
- 2 no Carrots
- handful Green Peas
- 1 pinch Turmeric Powder
- fistful Fresh Coconut Pieces
- 2 Green Chillies chopped
- 1" Ginger chopped
- Salt to taste
- 1/2 sp Mustard Seeds
- 1/2 sp Urad Dal
- 1/2 sp Chana Dal
- 1 Red Chilli crocked
- Curry Leaves
- 2 sp Oil
- Curry Leaves

Instructions
- Wash, peel carrots and cut into small pieces and cook along with enough salt and turmeric powder and strain. Meanwhile, grind coconut, green chillies, ginger into a coarse paste and keep it aside.
- Heat oil in a pan add popu ingredients and fry, once done add the curry leaves, green peas to the pan and stir, sprinkle little water and cook with a lid.
- When the peas are soft then add cooked carrots and stir, now add ground coconut mixture and mix very well. Cook on low flame for a couple of mins then turn off the flame and transfer into a serving bowl.
- Now carrot green peas coconut porial is ready to serve, serve it with rice and roti.
