Carrot Moong Dal Dosa/Carrot Pesarattu/Carrot Whole Green Gram Dosa - Dosa Recipes
Ingredients
- 1 small cup Green Moong Dal
- fistful Rice
- 3 Green Chillies
- 1 Carrot grated
- 1/2 sp Cumin Seeds
- 2 sp chopped Ginger
- Salt to taste
- Oil for dosa
Instructions
- Wash, soak rice and green moong dal in water and soak them for 5-6 hours or overnight.
- Grind soaked moong dal with the remaining ingredients(except oil) into a smooth batter with enough water.
- Transfer it to a bowl, then add cumin seeds and mix well, now the dosa batter is ready.
- Heat a dosa pan and grease it with little oil, when hot pour a ladle full of the batter in the center & spread it into a thin round with the back of the ladle.
- Now apply 1 sp of oil around the edges of dosa, when done flip and cook the other side for 30 secs & remove from the pan.
- Repeat the same with remaining batter, now carrot moong dal dosa/carrot pesarattu is ready to serve, serve with any pickle or chutney.
