Chutney Powder Recipe / Chutney Podi / Chutney Pudi
Ingredients
- 1 cup Chana Dal
- 1 cup Urad Dal
- 2 sp Coriander Seeds
- 5 sp dry grated Coconut
- 10 Red Chillies
- 2 inches Tamarind flake
- 1/2 sp Sugar
- 2 sp Oil
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Heat 1 sp oil in a frying pan add chana dal, urad dal, coriander seeds and stir-fry them on low flame until it turns golden brown in color, then transfer on to a plate & allow it to cool.
- Add 1 sp oil in the same pan and add red chillies and fry, once done remove from the pan and keep aside.
- Once cool add salt, sugar, tamarind, grated coconut to them and grind into a fine powder.
- Now chutney powder/curry powder is ready, its very tasty powder for all tiffin items and curries.
