Curry Leaves Tomato Chutney / Karivepaku Tomato Pachadi - Chutney Recipes
Ingredients
- 1 cup Fresh Curry Leaves
- 2 Tomatoes roughly chopped
- 10 Green Chillies
- 1/2 Limesize Tamarind
- 1 pinch Turmeric Powder
- 4 Garlic Cloves (optional)
- Salt to taste
- 1/2 sp Mustard Seeds
- 1/2 sp Urad Dal
- 2 Red Chillies crocked
- 2 sp Oil
For Popu :
Instructions
- Wash tamarind and soak it in little water for 10 mins and keep aside.
- Grind all the above ingredients into a coarse paste & keep aside.
- Heat oil in a pan add popu ingredients and fry for 2 mins.
- When done add ground chutney to fried popu and stir.
- Let it cook for a couple of mins on low flame, after that turn off the heat.
- Now Karivepaku tomato chutney is ready to serve, serve it with rice and tiffin items.
