Achari Rice with Leftover Rice / Khichdi with Pickles / Spicy Rice Recipe with Mango Pickle
Ingredients
- 1 cup Cooked Rice/Leftover Rice
- 1 tbsp Mango Avakai
- 1 tbsp Raw Tamarind Pickle
- 1 Big Onion chopped
- 1/2 sp Mustard Seeds
- 1/4 Urad Dal
- 1/4 Chana Dal
- 1 crocked Red Chilli
- few Curry Leaves
- 2 sp Oil

Instructions
- Take a bowl add cooked rice, mango pickle, raw tamarind pickle and mix everything well and keep aside.
- Heat oil in a pan and add popu ingredients and fry. When they splutter add curry leaves, onions and stir-fry until the onions are soft.
- Then add the fried popu to the mixed pickled rice and mix very well. Now pickles kichadi/achari rice is ready. It is a tasty breakfast or lunch box recipe.
- Now serve the spicy pickled rice with fresh curd.
