Simple and Easy Coriander Rice Recipe / Kothimeera Pulihora

Ingredients

  • 11/2 cup cooked Rice/Leftover Rice
  • 1/2 cup chopped Kothimeera
  • 4 Green Chillies chopped Lengthwise
  • 1 pinch Turmeric Powder
  • fistful Peanuts
  • Salt to taste
  • For Popu :
  • 1 sp Mustard Seeds
  • 1/2 sp Cumin Seeds
  • 2 dry Red Chillies
  • Curry Leaves
  • 4 sp Oil

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a pan add peanuts and fry, when done remove from the pan and keep aside.
  2. In the same pan add popu ingredients and fry, once done add green chillies, curry leaves and stir.
  3. Then add chopped coriander, turmeric powder and stir well, cook on low flame for about 3 to 4 mins on low flame, next add peanuts and stir.
  4. Then add cooked rice, salt and mix it very well, now kothimeera rice is ready to serve, serve hot with raita.
