
Maida Halwa Recipe / All Purpose Flour Halwa / Maida Ka Sheera
Ingredients
- 1 cup Maida/All purpose flour
- 11/2 cup Sugar
- 1/2 cup Ghee
- 1 pinch Orange Color
- 1 cup Water
- few Cashew Nuts
- 1tsp Elaichi Powder
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl mix maida and add enough water to make it a soft dough.
- Then pour 1 cup of water into it and covered for 1 hour and keep it aside.
- After one hour squeeze the dough and take milk from the maida dough.
- Then alow it to stay for 1 hour, now remove the water on the top of the maida milk.
- Thick milk is there, add in orange color, elaichi powder and mix very well.
- Now boil water in a non- stick khadia and add sugar into it and make a thick syrup.
- Add in maida milk and stir continuously, when it becomes thick like halwa add ghee stir well.
- Cook until the ghee leaves from the halwa, add chopped cashew nuts and mix well.
- Remove from the heat and transfer to a greased plate, now maida ka sheera is ready to serve.
