Majjiga Charu Recipe / Buttermilk Stew / Andhra Majjiga Charu
Ingredients
- 1 cup Buttermilk
- 1 pinch Turmeric powder
- 1 Green Chilli chopped
- 1 Onion chopped
- Salt to taste
- 1/2 sp Mustard Seeds
- 1/4 sp Cumin Seeds
- 1/2 sp Urad Dal
- 1/2 sp Chana Dal
- 1 Red Chilli crocked
- Curry leaves
- chopped Coriander leaves

Instructions
- Take Butter milk in a bowl and add salt, half chopped onion pieces and keep aside.
- Heat oil in a fan add popu ingredients and fry, once done add remaining onions, curry leaves, green chillies and stir-fry till the onions are soft.
- Add turmeric powder and stir well and then turn off the flame, now add fried popu to butter milk and mix well.
- Majjiga charu is ready to serve, garnish with coriander leaves and serve with white rice.
