Bhindi Coconut Fry Recipe/Bendakaya Kobbari Kura/Okra Coconut Curry
Ingredients
- 1/4 kg Bendakayalu/Lady's Finger
- 2 tbsp grated fresh Coconut
- 1 pinch Turmeric Powder
- 1 sp Red Chilli Powder
- Salt to taste
- 2 sp Curd
- 1/2 sp Mustard Seeds
- 1/2 sp Urad Dal
- 1 Red Chilli crocked
- Curry Leaves
- 3 sp Oil

Instructions
- Wash, clean okra, trim the edges and cut into small pieces.
- Heat oil in a pan add popu ingredients and fry.
- Once done add curry leaves,bhindi pieces and stir well.
- Add curd and mix well, cover and cook for 5 to 8 mins on low to medium flame.
- Now add turmeric powder, salt and cook for a couple of mins.
- Finally add the grated coconut, red chilli powder and stir well.
- Continue to cook for another 2 mins with lid on low flame.
- Then turn off the flame and transfer into a serving bowl.
- Bendakaya kobbari kura/Bhindi coconut fry is ready to serve, serve hot.
