Papaya Shrikhand Recipe / Boppai Shrikhand / Papaya Sweet Yogurt-Dessert Recipes
Ingredients
- 11/2 cup Fresh Yogurt
- 1/4 cup finely chopped Papaya
- 4 sp Sugar
- few chopped Dry Fruits
- 2 Elaichi Pods
Instructions
- Wash peel and deseed papaya and cut into small pieces and set aside, grind sugar along with elaichi into a fine powder.
- Use a fine mesh strainer like sieve (called as "jalleda" in telugu ) place yogurt in a sieve and stand for 2 or 3 hours to allow the excess whey to drain away, keep in refrigerator with cover.
- After 3 hours take out from the fridge and place it in a mixing bowl, combine powdered sugar, chopped dry fruits, chopped papaya and mix it well.
- Mix until all the ingredients are thoroughly combined, now delicious dessert, diwali sweet papaya shrikhand is ready, garnish with chopped dry fruits and serve immediately.
