Dal Paratha / Paratha With Leftover Spinach Dal / Palak Dal Paratha

Ingredients

  • 1 small cup leftover Palak Mango Dal
  • 1 cup Wheat Flour
  • 1 pinch Turmeric Powder
  • 1 Onion finely chopped
  • 2 Green Chillies finely chopped
  • chopped Coriander Leaves
  • enough Salt
  • 2 sp Wheat Flour for dusting
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Take leftover palak dal into a bowl and add above ingredients and mix well, add little water if required and make a soft dough. Keep it aside for 10 -15 mins with cover.
  2. Divide the dough into lime sized balls, flatten one ball of the dough with your hand, sprinkle some flour and then roll it out into a thin chapati.
  3. Heat a tawa, when it's hot gently place paratha on it and cook it on both sides with little oil.
  4. Now leftover dal paratha is ready, serve it with chutney or fresh yogurt.
